„Welt”: Propozycja „zamrożenia” wojny na Ukrainie szkodzi reputacji RFN

After many months Olena came back from there to Hostomel to see what is left of her apartment in the residential building that was destroyed during the Russian attacks, and where she lived as she said for 44 years. Due to the risk of collapse of the building, she could not go to see her apartment on the 5th floor, the most of which was mainly collapsed. Taking photos of the building with her mobile phone for her memory she said: 'I see there my white cooking stove is still standing'. She does not know what her future will be look like. So far she settled in the west of the country but has hope one day to return to Hostomel. Hostomel, as well as other towns and villages in the northern part of the Kyiv region, became battlefields, heavily shelled, causing death and damage when Russian troops tried to reach the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv in February and March 2022. Politycy koalicji rządowej z Zielonych i FDP ostro skrytykowali premiera Saksonii Michaela Kretschmera (CDU) za jego wtorkowy apel o „zamrożenie” wojny na Ukrainie. Jak podkreśliła Jamila Schaefer (Zieloni), propozycja ta szkodzi reputacji RFN, a słowa Kretschmera świadczą o „niebezpiecznej ignorancji” – pisze w środę portal dziennika „Welt”.

Głosy krytyki płyną także z CDU, partii Kretschmera. „ - ocenił we wtorek na Twitterze parlamentarzysta CDU Matthias Hauer.

Jak poinformował Kretschmer, także na Twitterze napisał do niego kończący pracę w Niemczech ambasador Ukrainy Andrij Melnyk. – napisał Melnyk.

We wtorek Kretschmer opowiedział się za jak najszybszym „zamrożeniem wojny na Ukrainie", wskazując na rolę Niemiec i Francji jako mediatorów. Jak dodał, nie oznacza to, że Ukraina powinna zrezygnować ze swoich ziem, lecz „chodzi o zyskanie czasu, aby móc zainwestować w środki bezpieczeństwa”. Jego zdaniem przedłużająca się wojna to ryzyko „utraty siły ekonomicznej” – przypomina „Welt”. (PAP)
